I am deciding whether to add an SSD to my iMac, but I don't feel as if I would benefit from it, so should I use the money I save to buy a 13 inch MacBook Pro or 11 inch MacBook Air? I would not need the power of the Pro and the lightness of the Air would be better when travelling but I would get more for my money if I get the Pro. What do you think?

often an SSD gives a huge impact on the performance of your system. I would get an SSD for the iMac and a shitty PC for traveling, unless you travel a lot that is..

"I am deciding whether to add an SSD to my iMac, but I don't feel as if I would benefit from it". You just answered your own question. Save your money and buy the 11" MacBook Air.

But for an extra £150, I could get a more powerful machine. That is the conundrum more than the SSD.
