Hi I am currently using Camtasia Studio for all my HD uploads to YouTube but the problem I am having it takes like hours on end and lags my whole computer down. I am looking for a program that would upload all my videos in HD 720p or 1080p without buying a new camera. I know I am only changing the resolution of the video but I wanna know if there is a program better then Camtasia Studio that won't lag my computer down when the video renders and renders quicker and in HD. Oh and I just updated to Windows 7 Professional and the specs are in a screenshot below

Wait, are you shooting video in less than HD and then you use Camtasia to make it 720p?

1st thing, you have a celeron processor (bad for video editing), second you have a small amount of ram. At that rate, there are even some netbooks more powerful than that.

I think the best thing to do is instead of spending money on new software/camera, put the money toward an updated computer/new parts. A Celeron with 1GB RAM is isn't going to be very fast for rendering video. Max out your RAM to 3GB (can't go any higher on 32-bit). If possible (if you're on a desktop), try to get a dual-core CPU.

Here's your problem. Your computer is awful. If you can, get a compatible dual-core processor (or a BETTER dual-core one if that's a D.C. Celeron) and max out your RAM like PCLinux7 said. It's either that or render at a lower resolution.. Or buy a new computer.

yeah a new computer for you is a must, that computer you have is about bare minimum to even have windows 7 running let alone video software

I'd suggest upgrading your ram but that wouldn't really help you much without a dual core cpu and some sort of graphics card

right now, that computer isn't really much better than the 1st gen Acer Aspire One netbooks which I had one, and it couldn't even play youtube too well, sometimes during playing a youtube video a blue screen message would appear and it be sounding out a really loud beep until I restarted it by removing the battery and putting it back,

and even download videos in itunes would play with video and audio totally out of sync

in fact your computer is only better than those 1st gen netbooks by 400mhz

if you don't want to buy a new computer than you'd be best to at least downgrade back to windows XP home edition and then upgrade the ram to 3GB but still don't expect blistering speeds
