Winter in general, but the week before and after christmas is just perfect :) I cant wait for christmas :D |

The end of the year (it's hard to call it "winter" here in South Texas with a straight face ;-) is my favorite time of year as well. It's when my family gets together, as well as my husband's family, and we celebrate a whole slew of birthdays, starting with my father in mid-December, me three days after Christmas (Dec. 28th), my brother-in-law January 1, and my mother and husband in the first two weeks of January. It's a crazy time, but always a memorable one. I also enjoy spring, but springtime is best spent outdoors and our schedules in recent years have been such that we haven't been able to go on a nice long hiking or camping trip like we used to when we were younger and (more) carefree. |
