I thought Chris wanted to steer away from tech a little with this yet people still want to carry on such debates as Mac vs PC. |
Because we are all geeks on this web site and that is what us geeks like |
Well, pretty much all of Chris's followers are geeky tech heads and so when he advertises a site to those who follow him its only natural to expect that there will be a lot of tech related stuff. Chris didn't really want to steer away from tech, but more than tech is certainly allowed here. |
I will say that I am amazed at the breadth of topics covered though...type on just about anything in the search engine and you will get a hit. If you don't you've hit GOLD! |
Chris never said to stay away from tech questions; he said that the questions do not have to be tech related. The problem is that the people who follow chris are tech enthusiasts, so what can one really expect? :) |
Its because the vast majority of people here are tech enthusiasts, im sure subjects will change as the site evolves and becomes more known to the slightly less techy people |

The community is still in its infancy (although at an accelerated growth rate, it seems ;-) It's actually been interesting to follow, since the community has swung occasionally to a rather overzealous all-geek, all-the-time focus with some users arguing that relationship topics (marriage, etc.) or other non-geek topics do not belong here. I've already said my twenty cents on that matter, here: http://lockergnome.net/questions/13882/why-do-they-call-it-honeymoon-what-does-it-symbolize-and-mean |
