Yes. For socializing. But obviously it is nothing compared to face to face socializing. But socializing in any way is healthy. I think I heard either 1 of ever 4 or 1 of every 8 people you know are probably on facebook. :D. Give it a chance...

Originally, I hated Facebook for keeping permanent logs of everything I've posted using it. Also had a seriously screwed up relationship because of it. But I gave in and let it grow into my life, since it's the only way for me to contact my friends quickly, online.

Facebook in my opinion is more efficient than twitter because in Twitter you can't message people individually like Facebook. Also Facebook is more known in my parts in D.R. no one has a Twitter here. But in NYC, almost everyone has a Twitter, not me.
