With all the recent announcements of old cation relaunches and remakes, I want to ask if you are still watch and enjoy cartoons, maybe not in the same way as you did when you were kids. Are you interested in them at all?

I have been enjoying the new Thundercats reboot and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I also watch a few shows with my son but I wouldn't say I actually enjoy them, some are pretty tolerable.

Yup, there isn't really anything good on TV except old Phineas and Ferb, Spongebob and Thundercats episodes on Nick Mexico (Our feed is from Mexico in the Dominican Republic)

in almost all if not all latin american countries they use Mexican translated programs.

(Aug 22 '11 at 17:14) Patxi Patxi's gravatar image

True, but some get their own translations like Argentina gets their own translated program or they get it from Spain since their accents are so similar.

There are not many programs translated in Argentina, since the production from Mexico is cheaper, Spain has a lot of quality voice acting but they change a lot of the meaning in the translation.

Since you are from Puerto Rico, 334 miles away from me, you should get the mainland's English and Mexican Spanish translated programs.. Check The Simpsons (Latino vs Castellano) and Sony Entertainment Latinamerica.

Latino is funnier by far, although I prefer to watch the shows in the original audion they were created.

I think you made a mistake by including spongebob in that list. Spongebob isn't good at all, it's just awful, and I'm including both new and old episodes.

Not if you watch it in Spanish, has me dying all day long. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jIjGj0fRJU, this is the classic CHOCOLATE scene from early on.

showing 5 of 7 show all

Yes I do. Being an adult naturally changes our perception of cartoons somewhat but there’s no shame in watching them. We can get so consumed by serious matters that we forget to have FUN.

Looney Tunes ROCKS! My programming teacher actually started watching looney tunes while we were converting Binary to ASCII earlier today. I thought it was pretty funny, and awesome!

Yes I watch cartoons I admit it.

People say "Aren't you too old?"

I say "Being an adult is not about stopping what you love to do. The only thing that separates kids from adults is the amount of responsibility."

Being a kid or an adult has nothing to do with responsibility, it has to do with being a kid at heart, I am past retirement but am still a kid, still love cartoons, and gaming and PC's, all the things I loved when young I love now cause I never grew up, but I did raise my family and extended family, ran my own business for 32 years, but always, always I had fun, because even in the bad times there is always a silver lining, like CARTOONS or SciFi or just having fun
