How about using a Microsoft Tag to make connecting afterward, or choosing not to connect, much less awkward. When you first sit down participants scan one another's Tag which leads to a profile of interests etc. It can help identify things the two people have in common (thus making the interaction more rich and efficient)and also allow for notes, or a rating to be saved along with the profile. After the speed date session, everyone can select which people they would like to connect with. If two people indicate they are both interested in connecting with one another they are sent one anothers contact info. If the interest is not mutual, there simply would not be any further exchange. Seems to me like that would be a lot more appealing than getting denied at the end of the date! |
