Should I jump for the 2012 package or keep my 2011 package?

Hey! I just recieved an email from my school and they're saying that their package is available for download, and they sent me a list of what's on the 2012 package. It's similar to the 2010 package, but has Photoshop. Should I download it or should I keep my 2011 package?

Sony Vegas Pro 10

Sony Sound Forge

Steam

MS Office Pro + 2010

Gimp

One game of your choice: Portal or Angry Birds (iOS/Android redeem key)

Avast! Business Anti-virus

Zonealarm Extreme Security

2012 Package

Sony Vegas Pro 10 or After Effects

Sony Sound Forge or Audacity

Steam

MS Office Pro + 2010 or OpenOffice with School colors and seal.

Photoshop or Gimp

One game of your choice: Portal 2 or Fruit Ninja (iOS/Android redeem key)

Avast! Business Anti-virus or AVG Small Business Anti-Virus

Zonealarm Extreme Security or Comodo Firewall

I would take the 2012 package. You can't download anything on it, because if you could you could just download gimp after because it's free after all.

If you read the top I have the 2011 version and I have the same software, unless my computer crashes then I'll get the 2012.

Why wait to see if it crashes, why not just get the 2012 package now seeing that it has better software.

One game to keep us focused, because Portal is educational.. It makes you think and It is redeemable with Steam, it's like a code we punch in and it's a download.

Wait,in what way is portal educational???because I played them both and I didn't learn a thing from them...I just got headaches and fustration....and A LOT OF FUN!!!

that's the point, it teaches you patience, and yes it's fun.. It was that or some game that teaches you how to fly, I think it was Microsoft Flight Simulator..

Take the package with PS, you won't regret it. I don't care what the open source fans say, Photoshop is waaaaay better than GIMP.
