When I start my desktop (customized with a Dell motherboard) it gets to the Dell logo on startup and it turns off and powers back. But the second time it starts it comes up with a Windows recovery screen and gives me a choice to do that or start Windows normally. When I chose the option to continue with windows it restarts again. I am trying to avoid re-installing windows. I might note that it does not give me restore points. Please help and thanks in advance. |

I suggest if you know what you are doing with a computer just check your connections between your mobo and your hard drive and another suggestion that could possibly help is resetting your CMOS, again if you know what your doing to reset the bios to factory, and making sure that the bios is reading from the correct hard drive first, and not a second hard drive with a partial instilation of an OS. Hope one of these helps you out. |
