According to CNet, probably. Sprint is getting the iPhone and so is T-Mobile. All we need is all the smaller carriers like Metro, Cricket, US Cellular, Virgin to get it and literally every carrier is getting the phone. |

I believe so, it's a good idea for apple to spread the iPhone love since lots of people hate AT&T and Verizon (I dislike both but have been using AT&T for some time). |

The Unlocked iPhone is currently already compatible with any GSM carrier, although it is much more expensive than the AT&T and Verizon models. See: Unlocked iPhone 4. Any difference would be for Apple to allow new carriers such as Sprint and T-Mobile to subsidize the prices if a contract was purchased, and perhaps allow an unlocked CDMA model. |

I don't see Cricket getting the iPhone. They generally have some of the cheapest phones available. |

Sprint makes sense in my opinion since they are doing fairly well and are fairly big. But T-Mobile doesn't makes sense since they are getting purchased by AT&T. I don't really expect the smaller carriers to get the iPhone 5 but maybe the iPhone 4S on some of them. |
