How can non-profit's use mobile tech to extend reach for donations?

UNICEF is using Tag on Trick-Or-Treat boxes to collect donations. Do you think it would work if after donating a user has the chance to share their own Tag with their social network to collect donations for a cause from their friends?

Absolutely! Look how much in donations Haiti received via Txt Donations alone. That business model was/is proven very effective. American Idol made millions with people voting via txt. Mobile Technology is in the hands of almost everyone, from children to the elderly. Touch screens, smart phones, voice recognition ... more. Exciting times we live in =0p...
