I have an iPhone 3GS and I have a big problem. I cannot sync anything to my phone. I have the latest version of iTunes and I cannot seem to like get anything to sync and update on my phone. I connect my iPhone 3GS to iTunes and hit sync and it connects and does step one but then doesn't update anything. Is there something I can do to fix this problem? I need some help! I FORGOT. I recently updated from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and I didn't save any app data! The only iTunes files I saved were the music files. |

You could try restoring your phone to factory and see if that works. Make sure you do a backup first though. |

You should ensure to have "Sync music" and "Entire music library" options ticked from the Music tab when you enter your device settings within iTunes. |
|
First make sure that all your music is in your iTunes library by dragging the folder containing your music directly on the iTunes window or if you know another way on how to get music into your iTunes library then by all means go for it. Then go to the Store section in the top toolbar and then click "Sign in". Enter your info and then click "Ok". Now go to "Edit" and then go to "Preferences". Go to the "Store" tab. Check "Music" "Apps" "Books" and "Always check for available downloads". After doing so: Go to your iPhone in iTunes (where you go to sync) and then go to the music tab and make sure "Sync Music" is checked, then make sure "Entire Music Library" is filled in. Then go to the Apps tab and make sure "Sync Apps" is checked. Then go to the Movies tab and make sure "Sync Movies" is checked and that it's so to "Automatically include all movies". Go to books and make sure "Sync Books" is checked and that "All books" is filled in. Just do the steps for any other types of media and set it up how you'd like as it's pretty self explanatory. After doing all this sync your iPhone and everything should be ok. Best of luck! Hope I helped. |

i know its probably a stupid thing to say but have you tried using a different usb port. One of my mates has an iphone 3gs and had EXACTLY the same problem. he fixed his by simply using a different port on his pc. |

Try with iTunes on another PC, if it syncs, then you should reinstall iTunes on your PC. If your 3GS doesn't sync, then I guess taking it to the Genius Bar should get some help for you... |

Convert movie to music video by right clicking the movie->get info->options->change 'media kind' as music video. In the music tab of your iphone in itunes, check 'include music video' option. Now drag and drop the music video from itunes to iphone in itunes. It will appear in music tab of iphone in itunes. synce it. You must be seeing the music video in the songs section of your iphone. |
