Do you know how to speed up downloads other than pay more for your ISP service? Soemthing legal and safe. Thanks. I want it sped up by atleast 1/4.

I can only recommend one, and that's a good thing because it works! Download Accelerator Plus (DAP)

The one thing you have to know is that you have to right click on a download link and click, "Download with DAP..." Sometimes it will ask you automatically, but usually not.

I have this on my other laptop that I do not use too often. Thanks. I totally forgot about it and kind of thought it was a junk download. (junk download-takes up space, doesn't work, or containing virus.

How about a download accelerator, this will enable multiple pipes to the server to download. Though you are still held by your ISP Speed.
