I absolutely love ASUS, but I also heavily buy from HP / Compaq. Samsung I also love, but only buy components, never their full machines. |

I love Apple, their design is always very well thought out, you know, except for the occasional thing that matters, like an iPhone antenna, but seriously, they make some good stuff. But I really don't like to pick, because I know people are going to jump down my throughout about being a fanboy. I also like other brands too, Sony makes great stuff and I have a Samsung TV, Microsoft Xbox, Dell laptop. Although I hate Dell. That laptop had a broken SD card slot within a month and in 3 years the disk drive and the line-in doesn't work. Plus it's a heavy fat ugly thing. Dell makes crap. |

I like Apple's phones and music devices but I have an HP computer. So HP and Apple. |

My favorite for a home built system is based on an Asus motherboard such as the Core i7 (LGA1366) Motherboard Asus Rampage III Extreme. I own a Fujitsu tablet pc (Fujitsu Lifebook P1510D), which is the best touch screen convertible laptop / tablet that I have ever had to use. It is a mini tablet PC from 2005 / 2006, which I still use today. It is the best troubleshooting tool that I bring with me to work and on different site locations. I also like both Dell towers and laptops. I know them inside out, since I have been maintaining, upgrading, repairing, and refurbishing for almost 20 years. They are great workhorses that find themselves as second hand donations in senior centers, non profit organizations, and into various types of schools long after their original business purposes. |

ASUS, Mushkin, TP-Link, Cool Master few more as well. |

My ideal laptop is a MacBook Pro (upgraded 15"). I would buy an Asus if Apple were to someday lose their luster. |
