Hello everyone, Did you hear that Apple will release the new iPhone 5? I am excited as soon as I know the news. I want to buy a new one and use it to take photos, record videos, etc. But I know Apple only allow us to upload files from computer to Apple devices. While my iPhone 5 is filled with media files, who can tell me a way to [transfer iPhone 5 to computer][1] to help me out? [Spam link removed] |

What exactly are you trying to do? If you are on Windows all of the pictures and videos you take will appear as a 'camera' in my computer. On Mac I think you use a photo program to transfer photos and videos. |

How do you have an iPhone 5? Or do you mean that you have the iOS5 software? he is asking a question about a product that was announced NOT RELEASED (aka. Iphone5) . and as you can see he is advertising something .... so yeah .. don't bother answer :) If they had answered yes to having an iPhone 5, my next question would have been how they managed to get a hold of one. Could have been this one: http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/207101/20110901/iphone-lost-in-bar-venus-williams-sjogren-s-syndrome-texas-am-big-12.htm |

Well with that is currently available to the public (iOS4 and iPhone 4), an application called Sharepod allows extraction of videos and music from an apple mobile device. With photos and self taken video on the iphone, I believe it is in the DCIM of the device (similar to the DCIM in digital cameras) and can be easily accessed with explorer (and no special software). |
