Creative Homemade Birthday Gifts?

I have a friend (girl) who has a birthday this Friday, and I want to make/do something different/unique and not just something that everyone else does. Any ideas for creative homemade gifts?

This may sound corny, but take her on a picnic somewhere close. Just hangout and relax. That way she will have the memory as a gift and sometimes those end up lasting a lot longer than materialistic gifts. Just my opinion.

Mosaic Poster made from pictures of her friends, family, you, things, and places she likes.
Sing/Play an Instrument for Her (Recorded Live or Burned to DVD prior).
Make her a CD of her favorite songs, and personalize the jewel case inserts, (just like The Karate Kid movie).
Make her a short movie, then burn it to DVD.
etc.

There is also Engraved Scented Candles that you can make as well. You can get scented candles from the local dollar store. And some templates from the local hobby store. And just use the stencil that you have chosen and make an outline of the actual image that you want to put on there. And use something like a rotary tool kit with some bits that are small enough and carve away the image out of the candle and voila that is another way of making something for her.
