The best of the best would be two Asus Mars II in SLI. but these cards run you about 1400€.. for one card. Which system has the most performance? The difference is negligible. However if you plan on using many screens then crossfire is the way to go. Also Crossfire works with all cards from the same series. So a HD6700 can be paired with an HD6990 no problem.
