I currently have an iPhone 3GS. Yes it's old but I wanna know if it's best for me to purchase an iPhone 4 or wait till the new iPhone comes out? Do we have some real proof that there is a new iPhone coming out? Yesterday my brother got an iPhone 4 and I just wanna laugh when the iPhone 5 comes out if it does very soon. Should I wait because my contract doesn't expire till next year in April and I wanna know if Apple will do that deal like they did for the iPhone 4 if you had an upgrade in the next 6 months after the iPhone 4 came out. What should I do? Should I wait or just upgrade to an iPhone 4 now?

Agreed. I have iPhone owners salivating over my Droid X2. Although I did need to make some changes to the underlying software to get it to that state.

I think you should wait for the iPhone 5, its only a few weeks away. And while you're at it, try out a couple of Android or WP7 devices. One may catch your eye.

I am by no means a fanboy. I do however think that one should try every available option before making a purchase of something which they will be using, most likely, everyday. Stop assuming what the intentions of others are.

I agree. Do not just limit yourself to an iOS device. I am no fanboy either. I have owned iOS, Android, Blackberry, and WebOS. And I like each. Android is probably my favourite out of them all though. Really do open to more phones, as many of the Android phones are cheaper than iPhones, and have way more features as well. Just please. Never limit yourself to iOS. I did once, and I am so glad i tried other phones, because i fell in love with my Palm Pre Plus, and now my HTC Desire. Don't limit yourself!!! =D

I like the iPhone because it is something that I know how to use and it's just for me and it has more then an android

U MAD, BRO? Seriously though, Android is a major player in the mobile OS market, it's worth at least considering. Just like iOS. I believe anything else to be a sign of ignorance.
