I sign into YouTube with my YouTube account or my email I used for my YouTube account, and it signs me in as a gmai?

I honestly couldn't be more infuriated. If I sign in with my email, or my username, YouTube signs me in as a gmail account that I accidentally linked because it offered to link it to me since I was signed into gmail at the moment, and I hit "continue" on accident when I wanted to hit "cancel" and I can't figure out how to fix it. Please someone help! I wish I could fix this! But the only answer I can find would be to sign into my YouTube account and not with the gmail, but it makes me.

I'm not to sure about this...have you tried going to your youtube account settings and unlinking your email?

I would if I could get into it. I sign into my YouTube account name and password, and it says I'm signing in as my gmail, and it doesn't even say there's any linked accounts or anything.

hmm, yea see, ever since Google bought YouTube, it doesn't allow you to make a YouTube account without a gmail account. If your account was made prior to this, then it is most likely that, when you linked it, like you said, then I don't think there is a way to unlink it. I'll surf around and see if I find anything.
