[closed] Random videos appearing in YouTube sub box

Hey

So I checked my YouTube sub box and there were some videos of people I've never heard of. A lot of people are complaining on these videos that the didn't sub to them.

How does this happen? Can I do something to prevent other random videos appearing in my sub box?

Make sure you have the Subscriptions tab selected on the top of the YouTube page. Not the All Activity or Recommendations.

I'm not stupid. I know there are multiple tabs. The error has been resolved by youtube over the weekend and should be fully working again by the end of the week. i heard
