so here I am reading about the facebook blog with what updates / changes they are going to make this week with facebook. and it saddens me that my Brother will always be first to experience this new updates and changes. I don't get it why he gets it first?! he's teasing me right now cause when he logs in to facebook, he's currently using the updated version of it, while i'm still stuck.. :( did I make it clear? how do I fix this? |

Facebook is not something you can update. Only Facebook can update Facebook. It's a website, not a piece of software running on your machine. |

I know right? maybe you don't quite understand the question. Facebook has updated their site. and some users, including my brother, are already taking advantage of its new features, and YET WHEN I LOG IN, THE UPDATE THEY HAVE RELEASED DOES NOT APPLY TO ME. (well it does after some time, but it's late, it's like knowing a news but too late.) is your facebook updated already? do you see lists? :( |

got it FIXED! see, I'm from Asia., and English is our Secondary language. so, when I was made to choose between English (US) and English (UK) I didn't really know the difference. hence, I chose UK. but now I tried my hunch that the update was only released to US Fb users, so I changed my Language preference from UK to US, logged out all the other active sessions, and logged in again. then poof! it's now updated. :) Conclusion: Facebook does not instantly apply their updates to the rest of the world., MAYBE they're testing it to US users first before publishing it to the whole world. again just a hunch, but if Anybody wants to try to latest update of Facebook for this week (which they say is like google+) you can do what I just did above. hope it help. *Cheers. |

the [closed] mark doesn't look good. i mean, no offense i feel like I did something wrong when I think I didn't. just saying. :)
You have done nothing wrong. The reason is that you have found a fix for your problem.
