What does Google+ have that Facebook doesn't?

I got an invitation to Google+ this morning, I signed up and played around with it for a while but I can't see anything that really sets it a part form Facebook.

I don't think it will be switching anytime soon mainly because I only know 3 people that are using it at the minute and a social networking site is worthless if you can't use it to communicate with people you know.

in all honestly I have to say Google+ has a nicer looking/more organized/easier to read (whatever you wanna call it) user interface. But maybe that's just me! (Also perhaps because when I have looked at my facebook it's always been on the profile page, not the home page.

Also Google+ doesn't have ads (for now) -- then again I don't really see facebook ads because I have an ad blocker installed.

Hangouts, Sparks, Different Streams, Much nicer / smoother UI, intergration with GChat and potential for so much more. We'll just see what Facebook uncover's at F8 and see if they have the ability to fight this war.

I still can't see many users making the switch when all their friends are Facebook users.

Maybe, we'll see in 6 months. Google+ has only JUST opened the doors to everyone and I think once people get over the bump of actually using it then the shift will ricochet through their personel networks. Google Hangouts alone are useful and far superior to Facebooks implementation. Unless they release something never seen on this earth at F8 this week, they might begin to start worrying about users moving.

Well group video chat "hangouts" and "circling". Also a easier UI. But the problem is getting people to switch from Facebook. None of that is fun without people!

Also, Google + doesn't make so many annoying changes. I dislike the new news feed.

Facebook has circles but there called 'Lists'.

Hangouts are awesome, but facebook now have "dynamic newsfeed" as google have, but still i prefer google plus cause it is prettier and i think google finally did good think and they will stick to that. and one more thing is that if you are using other google services more natural is to use google plus :)
