SLI help and problems

I have 2 gtx 260s and am running them in SLI I got rid of my FPS lag and then later on I tried to overclock it with evga precision so I had some problems booting after that and I deleted evga precision and it fixed the problem I then I had to reset my drivers and after trying many different tweaks I can't get my FPS lag to go away I've finally overclocked it using evga e-leet to about 175 qpi any more and I crash now Im stuck on one more question while I'm playing MW2 I checked the usage, power, and temp and one of my cards is running but the other is not being used for some reason and in the driver software I have it setup to use both of them. Y u no Help

Not sure i can help too much, but i do have one thing to say: Why did you feel the need to overclock 2 gtx 260's in SLI? Those are good cards; i don't see the need to overclock them...

that being said, the problem as I read it above seems to have occurred only after you tried to overclock the first time and you now can only see 1 card. If you boot to your bios settings, does the bios see both of them? (It's possible that your bios won't actually tell you any info about your video cards; if it doesn't there is software that you can load onto a CD or USB stick to boot from that can give you that information..back in the day I used to use Microprobe; i'm not sure if it still exists or is compatible with modern hardware)

I'm thinking that with the overclocking (which really is a use-at-your-own-risk thing to do) that you might have overheated and borked one of them....

there is a slight problem with one of the card being fried because during most other programs it runs and im watching it right now and one is running at 6% and the other at18% but when i start up mw2 one runs and the other doesn't if the card was burn out it wouldn't run at all so what else could it be

My recommended course of action would be to do a clean install of the latest Nvidia drivers (avaliable from the nvidia website). If that don't work, then maybe you fried a card.
