What do you think about Windows (Server) Developer Preview?

Can't get it to work in a VM. Trying to get a chance to install it on my linux box that I have a spare drive.

I think you shoulkd use VMware Workstation 8. Heard somewhere that Windows 6.2 (WDP) requires ACPI 2.0 support, which is not provided by most VM solutions in the market.

As for me - I run WDP and WSDP on host.
