Can Someone Explain The Adsense Program To Me

i'm having a hard time understanding the ads at this time with the channels and all, how do i know there's ads on my video and can i pick what ads go on my channel? please if you have experience or a tutorial help me out thanks!!

let me ask u first, are u accepted as youtube partner or hav been accepted by google for the adsense program?

From what I understand, no, you can't select the ad's that go on your channel. I have found that usually the ads correspond to the tags you put on your videos. I have also found that once you are an AdSense user, ads appear on all your videos.
