Outlook 2010 Exchange Help?

I just installed Outlook 2010. I am trying to configure my school e-mail, which is exchange. I found on my iPod that it would not work unless you put in the domain "PPSD". I don't know where to put that in. Also, when i just put in the server it said it could not connect even though that is what worked for my iPod. At the school, we're on outlook 2007 and it works. Is there some way I could reverse-engineer that? Thanks
