Well, I know people have had success with installing it on PowerPC Macs, but I haven't found any saying whether it would work on the Intel ones. Does anyone know if you CAN install it alongside OS X and Windows? (Specifically Ubuntu 11.04)

You can install it through Bootcamp just as you would have Windows. It should come up with an installer and you just go from there!

Yeah, just download the dvd and boot it. I have no idea how to configure dual boots in Mac OS X, but I know that, for windows, easy-bcd exists as a tool. Either that or you could hypothetically speaking triple boot by installing Windows/Mac OS X as a dual boot, and then using Wubi to install Ubuntu.

You don't even need to install it in boot camp, you can use Virtual Box.

I don't think that he wanted to run it virtually. Running Ubuntu virtually gives you less functionality and user experience than if you run it alongside Mac OS X.
