Hey all, I'm 15, still in school and doing really well in my studies. I am and always have been interested in IT, and many things to do with IT and would say that I have tried my hand at many different areas in IT.
Now one of my main interests is the web, I have done plenty of web design before for real clients, and I have been fairly successful and really enjoy what I do in that area. I know HTML, CSS and the basics of JavaScript and know that this is a decent area to go into but I am looking for alternatives. I am also interested in ASP and ASP.NET which I would like to learn; it seems interesting, I am always willing to learn and generally pays considerably higher than HTML and CSS developers.
I also in general IT; I like helping people with IT and like the general way in which IT works, so I'd love suggesstions on how to form my career in IT. I would also appreciate a nice way in which to learn ASP web development, how can I learn, C#?

Anyway, thank you in advance and would really appreciate your input, I think it would benefit me tremendously.

If you have will you have the power, then everything is possible, If you are interested in web design and development, technologies which you will certainly need to learn and master are definitely HTML(5), CSS(3), and one SS(server side) language like PHP, ASP...... First thing that i learned was HTML CSS, and then i learned PHP , then Java, and then ASP, none of those is "to difficult" to learn and there is no good advice on what you need to learn, you have to do market research, and then decide which direction suits you most.

Cheers , and good luck

right now the whole programming part of IT business is not a very attractive one.. Companies hire folks from China and India who work for a fraction of your salary, while delivering the same work performance, often even better than yours. Keep that in mind and remember the future is not in the west. We're all doomed back to the stoneage >.<' look for the east to find your glorious future.

You'll be a perfect designer within 1 year if you take this subjects seriously. There are lots of web design company and you'll get a good package.
