why does my cpu max out a 100 if i use adobe flash media encoder to stream video using manycam.

computer specs:

AMD Athlon 64 processor

3 GB RAM

You probably do not have a GPU that supports hardware acceleration for encoding/decoding of videos, hence all the workload is being dropped on the CPU itself.

Encoding video usually requires a bit more than an AMD Athlon 64, time to upgrade. I've been very happy with my Intel Core i5-2500K.
