It's become so bad that I can't even read the text on PDFs because it is so distracting. Other than that I like Adobe Reader and do not want to go back to viewing PDFs in Preview.

I don't actually get what you mean by "jumpy" scrolling. but if you mean jump to the next page, just make sure you press that button, for a continuous reading. :)

Actually that wasn't what I meant. I already have "single page continuous" scrolling turned on. I'm talking about the "jumpy" scrolling that looks frigidity when you try and scroll down a document. Almost as if the frame rate is too low.

@.@ what's your system? I fresh installed adobe reader X, and there's none of that problem. maybe a printscreen will describe it? my friends on a lower-end system use adobe reader too, and there's no problem with it. maybe you should adjust your scrolling settings in the mouse options?
