Asus, Samsung, Acer.

HP laptops tend to overheat.

Apple = Overpriced, overhyped.

Sony = Overpriced, locally.

Dell = Parts fall off like limbs patched back to a body with paper glue

Lenovo = Ugly(personal opinion)

Toshiba = No experience with them

Panasonic made laptops?

how 'bout MSI?

HP - yah you're dam right, so I use "power-saver" mode when not doing resource intensive tasks like browsing and Office stuff.

Speed comes with heat right? I thought it's the price I pay for speeding up? you mean with the same spec, but different brand a laptop would be cooler if it isn't HP?

Dell's alienware overheat too (said some / many blogs) Sony is yea,, over priced. i'd rather get a mac for that price.

Samsung smells nice... and nicer now that you mentioned it. Panasonic? sorry never tried too. and my friends don't have it either.

Toshiba looks ugly (TO ME.) sorry. not sure of its quality though.

Lenovo seemed cute? it's advertised in Transformers right? what thing do you hate 'bout it?

Dell- i thought it's one of the most durable?

ACER-? i thought it's the least durable?

Never really used MSI, but they have some badass looking gaming laptops.

Speed doesn't always come with heat, it just depends on what chipset we're talking about and the efficiency of the parts that cool the laptop.

Yep, to the point of melting. Quite a number of M11x actually have the plastic underbottom melt over extended use.

I only hate the business line of Lenovo laptops. They look as if they're from 8 years ago, even the recent models.

Dell isn't durable at all, I have a lot of friends who have bought Dell laptop and the keys fall off like dead flies after a little insecticide.

Acer laptops are durable, depending on the user. I have a 2 year old Acer laptop still going strong while I was using it, then I gave it to my sister and it started shitting bricks. Of course, she has butter fingers.

In my opinion, Asus makes the best laptops. Sure, a number of them look like cheap plastic. Never had a problem with them except for that stupid Seagate hard drive mine came with.

i'm from a different country. alienware is hardly ever seen here. 90% of folks i see are using ACER. that's why "i think" acer is cheap.

now if you're someone who owns more than ACER then it's cool enough. sounds great right? hahaha so don't blame me if I don't know Razer. heheh... thanks anyway. :))

I think it's in the same pricerange as a mac though.. but there are hardware on the Blade you can't get on a MBP

yea, i personally think that the keyboard is sooo cool. but really pricy though.

I wonder how durable it is. anyway, maybe I shouldn't bother. by the time I have 2.8k, the computer out there would be so much better than today. hahahha

Razer? Seriously, Razer? They have an awesome looking laptop coming out later, but it's the first they've ever made and no one has ever even touched it. So how doe the Razer Blade get on anyone's top 10 list. Honestly, how can you say Razor is the best computer when no one in the world has reviewed it, unboxed it, used it , touched it or even seen it in person?? The specs look good, the pictures are nice, but number one on a top 10 list. Sad

1)Apple ( This, in my opinion is the best laptop for hardware and software integration and overall user experience. If you use a windows PC for a few years, and then get on a Mac, it's like waking up from a bad dream.)

2)Lenovo (best quality of all windows running PCs. In the windows world, the closest you can get to having MacBook quality of hardware, software to hardware integration and user experience is on a Lenovo. A T series Lenovo is a totally different kind of Windows experience.)

3)ASUS (Makes great computers)

4)Acer

5)HP

6)Sager ( Really amazing laptops, especially if you game and want a desktop replacement)

7)Alenware (the only Dell worth buying)

8)eMachines (Not a lot of selection, but huge bang for your buck. I bought my niece and nephew each one of the Wal-Mart Black Friday models for Christmas last year. $200.00 a peice and they had dual-core 1.8 GHz AMD CPUs, 250GB HDDs, 2GB RAM and CD superdrives, SD card slots and Windows 7 Home Premium. I'm their favorite Uncle.)

9) Samsung

10) Toshiba (I put Toshiba at the bottom because they are so cheaply made, but if I had to go buy a Windows laptop right now, with my newly constrained budget, It'd be a Satellite. They have cheap, poorly made bodies, but the components are great and the price is awesome. I really think you get the most for your money with Toshiba Satellite series laptops)

I've had a terrible experience with an HP desktop in the past. I would never buy another HP, especially a laptop... whenever I go to Costco and look at their PC selection, I notice that the HPs are the lowest quality ones. Keyboard flex, low specs, etc.

Well going with build quality, I would have to say Apple and Lenovo are the kings here followed closely by Sony and Asus. Acer is the middle guy. Dell just sucks in my opinion, will never purchase one ever again. HP tends to overheat, and the whole splitting the PC sector of the company thing I don't take too lightly.
