Well I have been reading all kinds of horror stories about the ios update. What I am wondering is this, is it safe for me to update my iPhone yet? I want my notification center! |

Good Question. Thumbs Up! - It should be fine, waiting a few weeks wouldn't hurt =0p... My 1st generation iPad & iPhone 3G[s] are still on older firmware. Everything is running fine. I don't see the need to update, and risk loosing my untethered jailbreaks. My iPad 2 is currently on firmware 4.3.4, and I've been waiting for a jailbreak to be released (hopefully untethered). I generally skip every other product model. I had the original iPhone. I skipped the iPhone 3G. I upgraded to the iPhone 3G[s]. I skipped the iPhone 4. I'm not sure if I'm going to upgrade to the iPhone 4[s], because no has addressed my question about the battery life. > New iPhones & Battery Life: Was this topic talked about? |

absolutely, just make sure that you restore your iPhone. However, I strongly recommend that you do a backup before you restore. When you restore, iTunes will also upgrade your device. |

the update is AWESOME. get it asap. and yes its safe. i think people were having problems yesterday but nothing security wise. plus my update went fine. the whole process took be about 20 minutes. to download and install. its went very smooth for me |

Wait a couple of days. Its nothing amazing.
@avrgboy
Do you by any chance have it running on an iPad 1? any problems?
iPad 1 is the same spec as the iPhone 4 roughly. It will work fine.
It's basically iOS 4... but refreshed with newer features and improvements... To me it still feels a little glitchy... but iOS has always felt a little glitchy to me. It should run fine on all the iOS devices from the iPod 3rd gen and up.
