Maybe the addition of USB 3.0, HDMI and an upgrade of RAM and CPU.

The newly updated Mac mini has an HDMI port now.

I think that they should make an aluminum unibody, and that they should make he RAM more accessible. Also, they should add an HDMI port, and they should include an SD card reader. Oh wait, they've already done that.

I don't think a physical change is needed, probably faster processor as usual and more RAM.

A HDMI port, Most people us it as a media center with there HDTV so having a HDMI port would be really good.

A spec refresh would be nice, no need to redesign, as that just happened.

The Mac mini did finally just get a new facelift after 4 years. I highly doubt it's physical design will change. Next year, after it's initial R&D and manufacturing cost, could drop down to $599 or even $499 again, though they may keep it at $699 to separate it a bit from the iPad for whatever reason.

I see USB 3.0 added, an SSD option, Firewire 1600 and 3200 support, and starting with 4gigs rather than 2. It'll get a GPU upgrade as well, and may sport an i5 or other newer proc option.

For people that may not know yet, the Mac mini has HDMI already, it was updated recently.
