I'm 22, male 5' 5", an weigh 185 pounds. Ive checked online on a few sites that compair height an body weight an they gave me the same answer that my ideal body weight was 145 but it was still acceptible at 131 to 159. Since coming back from idaho to my home state of Virginia Ive gained nearly 30 pounds over the last year.

In school I was 210 lbs, an out of school my senior year, i started walking 15 miles to the library, it'd take me about 2 hours an i'd set for the day playing online games so my body could rest up a bit for the walk back. I was alone in doing this, because my family was against me walking an being out all day an i'd lost 55 pounds in about 8 months from just walking an I had noticed I ate less too, I didnt feel hungry as much or some days i'd feel like i could eat a cow an i'd end up still losing weight. But now since I've had to come home to help take care or my mom after her heart surgury, she's bought junk food, an cakes, an stuff fussing at me to eat.

I saw the link about the 50 tips for weight loss, an read through it, an saw that i had done most of the the things wrong that was talked about.

I cant stay focused on my exercises, an i cant get away from my mom for another 2 weeks, I wanna lose the weight an get back into my 30's, an actually get a flat belly for the first time in my life. What can i do?

I would recommend exercising like you've read about. Eat right too. There's plenty of sites online to provide you with ideas for eating right and exercising at the same time. Programs like P90x can help too. Your mom wants you to eat because that's what moms do. If you're big, moms are happy because they know you're eating. Cut back on the junk food, stay away from heavies like white flours, and avoid sugar type drinks. There's several other avoids, but like I said, go online. You'll find everything you need. It comes down to will-power. If you want it, you'll do it.

don't stop eating just eat healthier. and exercise of course. just don't let people get in your head, do this for the right reason. do it for you and to be healthy. 185 is not a lot at all, i just don't like seeing girls go to the extreme to get skinny because some guys are assholes and make fun of girls to make themselves feel better about their own pathetic lives.

Replace 'eating' with 'running' and you should be fine.

It's best to just make small subtle changes to diet and activity habits. You will have a much better chance of success in the long run with this approach. It's so much easier to stick with as well.
