Windows 7 detects microphone (at2020) as headset

Hey,

I've just got my AT2020 in a few weeks ago (not the direct USB version) and I just received my XLR female to USB male adapter with build in sound card but Windows now sees it as a headset rather than a microphone.

This is the AT2020 that I got and this is the cable (I couldn't buy the AT2020 USB through http://go.tagjag.com/at2020 because Amazon won't ship to The Netherlands)

Am I doing something wrong or is Windows messing with me?
