If you want to customize the look of your blog when using a 'dynamic' view you need to use CSS fromk what I've seen, why would they take the simple customizability of blogger away in the new 'dynamic' views?

i feel the interface is great, but they implemented it "too late", blogging is literally dead!

Blogging is nice to do depending on the subject matter itself that your putting out on the web. There are many interests out there for everyone. And if you like sharing your experience in something it is good to read up. And having CSS set up for it is a good thing to since you can make it the way you want it to be for your own blog site.
