Hi all I have both iPhones 4 and 4S and they both have Vodafone UK SIM cards. As they are sitting next to each other on a table, the iphone 4S shows 3, 2 and sometimes 1 bar while the iphone 4 shows 5 bars or 4 when I am at home. I have not experienced any dropped calls or anything but was wondering if this is caused by the the new antenna design.. improving the death grip but in a way lowering signal strength..?? a bit confusing!! This does not mean that I do not get a full strength with my 4S. I get 5 bars with my iphone 4S at other places away from home for example at the train station yesterday I got a 5 bar strength all the time. It is just that putting the two phones with the same carrier SIMs next to each other always reveal the more receptive iphone 4. Other than that the phone is terrific.. Any ideas or SIMILAR experience will be greatly appreciated guys.. Many thanks and Best regards |

I have iPhone 4s. & 3G on orange. All the time I've had the iphone 4s, it shows no service at my home While the 3G, iPad 2 & other phones show 4 bars. There must be a design fault with the 4s. |

I got the exact problem! I am also on Orange and on my iPhone 4 in some places there is 4-5 bars + 3G whereas the 4S has 1-3 bars + Edge! Must be some design fault! |
