What's your preffered way to buy tech? Computers, phones, tablets, everything. How do you buy it? On the manufacturer's website, in one of the manufacture's store, in just a regular retail store? |
|
I'll usually find the product online somewhere and research it for a while and eventually I'll buy it. I'll buy it online in most cases sometimes on websites like Amazon which is great since they have great shipping with Amazon Prime and they also have a great selection. But for more specific purchases I might use stores like Newegg online. And if I need something now like headphones after they break for example I'll go to a local Best Buy or retail store. |

For major purchases ($1000-infinity) I'll do about a week of research, including websites, reviews, Best Buy stores, etc. Then I find my product on reputable websites and compare pricing. Finally I make a purchase, which usually ends up being from newegg. For smaller purchases I try the manufacturers website first and then places like Best Buy because they offer great accident coverage through Geek Squad. |
