well first of all, what are you doing on Natty Narwhal still, 11.10 just came out!!!

Second, just gotta play around with it. You will learn a lot more doing that than just reading a guide about it.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you want to know how to install Ubuntu? Or are you trying to find how to run Windows programs on Ubuntu?

Rereading your question, it sounds like you want a way to install Ubuntu like a program. There are a few options like this. 1. Wubi - Lets you install Ubuntu from within Windows and it will add it so when you restart you can choose between Ubuntu and Windows. 2. Using a Virtual Machine - This method is a little more complicated if you've never done it before. Basically, it lets you run any OS inside of your current OS. So you can be running Windows and then you can start the virtual machine and have one window with Linux sitting with all your other Windows. You can even turn on Seamless mode to have all of the Linux programs run alongside your Windows programs. If you want more information on how to do this, let me know and I'll give more detail.
