Is it possible to ping from an Android device?

You can use apps to ping to places. Apps like https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mm.network&hl=en is an example

You can also use terminal on android and command a ping like usual

1	I often need to connect to my server from my tablet (running Froyo) so I generally use Irssi ConnectBot, I've also used it to ping websites before. If you want more functionality - I would go for Irssi Connectbot. answered Nov 03 '11 at 04:38 Hugo 1.7k●24●31●51
