I have few iphones, most of which I have given away, but all of them are bound to my account and my apps, I have changed my password, but I don't know it they are still attached to my account. What I am worried is, if I use iMessage, is it still synced to other devises too even if I changed password or not? is there a way to make sure or way to unbound those devises from my account remotely? they don't show up on iCloud website, but friends keep asking me for password (which I of course don't give) to update apps, so I believe they are still bound... |

surely if it's the iPhone then the message only goes to the specific number tied to that iMessage account thing (when people iMessage me it goes to my number, which is sim specific). iPods and iPads use email addresses instead (and I think the iPhone also has an email address tied to that device's iMessage) so you could just change the default email used to one that you know isn't going to be active on the other phones. I think it's highly unlikely but that would be one way to make sure. |
