Lately I've been running into several memory issues due to my Minecraft server. I've went online to search for an upgrade going from 4Gb to 8Gb (two 4Gb memory cards) and I found these from Kingston. I currently own the Early 2009 model, 24 Inch 2.66Ghz iMac of which the exact specifications can be found here. Even though it looks to me that this upgrade will work I am not entirely sure since I've never done a RAM upgrade of this size.
Do any of you know whether this upgrade will work or if it would be a waste of money (in the way of it not working).

Try Crucial.com, I used that for my brand new iMac. You put in your model and stuff, and it tells you the max RAM and gives you a list of the RAM you can put in it and you can buy 'em right there.

While I am not sure if that would work, there is memory here specifically made for Macs. https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/iMac/DDR3_2009

Well I think it is going to work since the only thing I can't check on the ram that I have found is the amount of pins it uses but the images looks the same as all the others. Thanks @Outlaw & @FutureInventions
