I am wondering what program I need to use to add these cool sidebars (Picture example below) I seen networks do it but I do not know how I can do it on my YouTube videos! Is there a program I need? What can I do to make it?alt text

You need to use SD video (4x3 aspect ratio) and place it in an HD (16x9 aspect ratio) frame. In short, you need to use a movie editing application, but one with more control than Windows Movie Maker such as Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas.

I use Camtasia. Will that work?

You can do it in Movie Maker, just have 4x3 footage and set the aspect ratio of the project to Widescreen (16:9). After that I'm sure there are ways it could be done, although I'm not very familiar with the program. There surely are workarounds (possibly involving a 16x9 sidebars graphic and a chroma key, just thinking out loud.)

You can do it in iMovie on the Mac too, so whatever platform you're using, you don't have to look far.
