Mac Pro Mid 2010 Graphic Upgrade

Hi, I'm looking at refurbished mac pro's and I was wondering if there was anyway of upgrading the graphics in there? it would be this one : Apple Store The ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory is not that good. Was also wondering would it increase a lot the power if I'd put another ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory in there? Can I even do that?

This is one of the major weaknesses of apple, you can't get decent graphics. The HD 5770 is an extremely outdated card. It seems the most powerful card available is the HD 5870, which is also a very outdated card. I don't know if you can fit cards not made for macs inside a mac pro.

Do you know if I can fit 2 ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory in Crossfire. And, would it change anything?

Yes, you can absolutely upgrade to any PCI Graphics card. It will fit fine in the Mac Pro.

Would fit in the mac pro and be compatible?
