So, heres the crunch. My girlfriend said that I am not nerdy enough. I am comfortable as a geek, but she said that.

To have some additional sense when it comes to our everyday conversations, she has given me a list of television shows, books, movies, etc. First item on the list is "Star Trek everything": -ST: Original Series -ST: The Next Generation -ST: Deep Space Nine -ST: Voyager

I would like to get as much knowledge from this, in a decent time span.

Advice? Resources?

I decided that I also want to get into star trek. Your best bet is watch TOS online. I think TV.com has it. Theres also a channel I believe is on Justin.tv where somebody streams Star Trek...I think the next generation 24/7. I can't remember the channel name but it streams the star trek series patrick stewart was on. Hope this helps.
