i am looking at archos tablets just for pure storage , here is the 48 proccessors : Processor(s) Central Unit: Main processor: ARM CortexTM-A8, 32 bit, In-order, dual-issue, superscalar core @ 800 MHz Additional processor: 32 bit DSP @ 430 MHz Yet the archos 7 has this : Processor • ARM Cortex A8 at 1 GHz with DSP • Graphic accelerator: 3D OpenGL ES 2.0 so are these the same spec , which ones better |

Say what? 48 processors in a single tablet? Did I take a Dracula snooze or something? O_O |

Why would you buy a tablet for storage? Why not buy a flash drive or and external hard drive. |

Not sure where the 48 came from but generally a tablet can have 1-2 main processing cores, then 1-2 GPU cores, then 1 DSP core, each handling it's own thing, it is pretty normal for ARM CPU's PS avoid tablets with resistive touch screens, they do not work well The older archos tablets need to be rooted and have cyanogen mod installed in order to be useful. |
