Hi, I just received a PC from my Uncle and I though it would use VGA, but unusually it uses DVI-I. My monitor only has ports for HDMI and VGA so i'm looking for the correct adapter. Here are the ones I have seen can you please tell me if they will work. VGA: http://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-com-DVI-I-VGA-Display-Adapter/dp/B000067SOH The DVI-I ports are usually found in monitors an not on PC's so I would like to know if the above cables would work and which one is better to use. Thanks, Louis |

Go with this one, http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000GE9XRQ/sr=1-1/qid=1322430284/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1322430284&sr=1-1&seller= You will be sending a digital picture instead of a analog picture and depending on the computers video card the VGA adapter might not work, but this one will, and it is cheaper. I ordered the VGA one and it works perfectly. But I noticed that it wont goto 1920x1080 natively. So I just bought the HDMI one. |
