As you see at the bottom there, that is a recent snapshot of how much space do I have on my 8GB iPhone 3G, that I have NOT upgraded to the 4S as the price for a legal unlock is too much. I use my iPhone as a music player for the drives to school and to text. I don't have any games on this phone as the games I want support the 3GS and higher. How much space do you have, and how do you use your iPhone? |

Hey there! Ok I don't quite get your first half, by 4S you mean the software or the phone itself? I don't live in the US so not to familiar with the system there. Does it really cost to have an upgrade? Ok moving on, so, it's the capacity of the iPhone 3G that's bothering you huh? Mind I say your capacity made me laugh. Ok anyways, let's stop fooling around. Here's what I see from the above picture, It's original space available for the user is 6.9GB. Not surprising to me since your original 8GB has be reduced to make space for iOS. Even if you did not upgrade to iOS5, iOS 4.2.1 has to stay somewhere in the drive now right? Second is your available memory which is 440MB. I have to ask, doesn't it lag 0.o So yea, that is miserably low memory space if you ask me and I say it's not surprising seeing you have 1,175 songs and 2 videos which I would assume are movies? 29 Application, shouldn't take a lot of space but generally I wouldn't be surprised or alarmed when seeing these stats, especially when it has been through OS upgrades and that load of multimedia you have on it. Hope I help yo! Cheers, Aaron |
