So I've ran into a problem. My old fat PS3 40GB model has died twice from the yellow light of death. I repaired it the first time and now it's dead again, but I can't repair it. I bought a new PS3 recently, and I thought I could backup the old contents by inserting the old hard drive into the new PS3, backup to another external hard drive, and restore back into the new hard drive. So I put the old hard drive in, and it said that the software has to be updated or something. I tried plugging into my old hard drive into my computer, but it was not recognized. WHAT DO I DO?
