Have you ever noticed that the image date in Google Earth of the Google HQ is from 2007 and the surrounding area is all from this year (2011)?

Makes you wonder if they are trying to hid something...

More than likely, Google is too cheap to pay for the satellite imagery of a building that has not significantly changed.

Google probably just wants to make sure that they look over the pictures before they are put on Google Earth. I'm not sure why the pictures would be 4 years old though. I know of some secret building that are masked with fake trees on Google Earth to appear like they never existed.
